I’m Vicky. I live in Essex, not far from Southend. Wife to Jason, and Mum to the gorgeous Jasmine (23) and Jessica (20), and Bucky (3) the black lab.
I worked in Head Office retail for most of my employed life, in various positions with the last role as a Customer Success Director, working across the UK, Europe and the USA.
In 2020, after turning 50, I knew I wanted to quit the corporate life and start of a business of my own. Brave or scary? You decide.
In 2021 I went from taking 30+ trips around the world for work, to WHS – ‘working from the shed’. I had no local business connections, and it was a lonely place to be.
But that quickly changed when I was invite along to a networking meeting – picture this half-dressed on zoom at 6.30am.
I loved it.
I immediately saw the network of businesses that I could build relationships with to pass and receive referrals.
I started to generate work and I’m now in my 4th year, with most of my clients coming via an introduction from my network.
My business is split into three parts:
Teaching business how to network for success. This year I am on a mission to teach 100 business owners how to harness the power of networking for their business. It’s been a game changer for me, and I know it can be for everyone.
Support businesses through mentoring and providing accountability to establish and grow their business. I offer bespoke 121 services which can tell you what to do next, show you what to do next or provide a done for you service.
Refresh homes for retired couples using trusted trades giving them the confidence that the work is done right, and at the right price, through my Interior Design service.
