In my last post I shared with you why business owners fail at networking so I wanted to balance the books, and share with you why they succeed.

Because they do.

I generated over 80% of the sales into my Interior Design business through networking.

From the Networking Ninja’s I reasearched over 60% said networking gave them more access to their ideal clients, which in turn generated sales for their businesses. 

Here’s some of the reasons why they are successful.

They find out about the person’s likes and dislikes -it’s not all business. 

They understand the types of businesses that are connected to their ideal clients.

They build strong relationships with these businesses – both at and outside the official networking meeting. 

They ‘test out’ businesses before they handover their best clients.

They actively look for opportunities for these businesses. 

They treat networking as a key part of their marketing strategy – they aren’t taking ‘time off’ to network. 

They always bring their ‘A game’ not matter how bad their day. 

Now, it’s important to note that over 70% of the Ninja’s I spoke to where either solo business owners, or solo with a little freelance help. These results don’t come from big businesses with lots of employees. They come from everyday people like you and I.
